Because we are all in it for a great time!
It’s not just about girls!
- Speak Up
Actually use the mic to communicate nicely, say “Hello” or just to ask those who have taken the conversation the wrong way to clean it up. Not that it will work but I bet if one person calls out the loser being rude, more will chime in and back you! - Be Respectful
Everyone who is playing loves video games, or they would be doing anything else. So when having conversations follow those lessons imparted to you by your parental figures and your kindergarten teacher. - Cursing is Bad
GDs are the worst, why curse what you love. No G@D D@m#$, please. Cussing relentlessly is also just nasty. Why be so abusive and spoil the fun for everyone. - Manage Your Anger
Games can cause instant frustration and ensuing destruction. Remember, it is a game and meant to be fun. Plus, it gets expensive to replace controllers slung at walls. - Don’t Gloat
Tea-bagging, thankfully has gotten old, but losing sucks enough without getting digitally molested. Same with the verbal bashing, trash talk can be fun but don’t take it too far. - Leave the Game
There are times when you have to step away, when those times happen don’t just leave your guy standing there. This is not team play, this is rude. Your team needs you, either playing or bowing out so someone else will play. - Mute Your Mic
You may have excellent taste in music but no one else wants to hear it over their headset. Nor do they care to hear a phone conversation, chewing or general heavy breathing. We now its your mic, the little speaker icon has been highlighted the entire game. - Respect ALL Gamers, Especially the Girls
Play and let play
More and more girls are picking up their controllers and deserve to be respected for the gamer they are. We paid money to play and don’t need the extra color or sexual innuendos. Girls are here to play! I want to get out the verbal ruler to smack those knuckles of ill-mannered, insensitive, and out right disgusting players. You are likely playing a heroic character with a honor code, so live it for real.
